It may help keep some bad-behaved people away but I believe the major difference is the absence of celebrities/ influencers which thrive off anger and this is because the place is very much designed for person-to-person relationships and largely anti-capitalist.
Humans are just nicer when talking to a group of friends than when they try to become a celebrity.
