@ben Glad you found a good childcare (personally I find it subtlety devalues the work to call it daycare…they are caring for children during the day but that’s just the frustrated the work didn’t pay a livable wage, me). ❤️

@ben Congrats! It means so much to discerning parents. I remember these days, especially when for reasons beyond our control and not involving us, we were one left without care in short notice. Ugh! It worked out, but was stressful to consider finding suitable openings that logistically fit our commutes/schedules.

@ben Delighted to find you on Mastodon! Your posts on Threads were one of the few reasons I hadn't completely given up on the platform. But now I basically have.

I can delete the Threads app and save myself a lot of wasted time. Hurray!

Maybe I'll dip back in there if they ever add ActivityPub support so I can port my followers and those I follow across to Mastodon. Maybe.
