@cautionwip LOL you can hardly blame her for saying that. My mom never has gone into a lot of detail but she's said enough to infer it was no walk in the park and she was knocked out for the last of it. 👀😬🤣
I was a very difficult birth, requiring surgical intervention with no anesthetic (I died during delivery so they had to speed things up drastically). I won’t describe what happened in detail online because it could be upsetting for some readers, but rest assured : not a fun NYE.
My mom basically has no filters and boundary issues. I knew everything about it in graphic detail waaaaaaay before I should have. /wry grin/.
@cautionwip Oh my - sounds like the best part of that day is that you both made it through a traumatic experience! I'm sure if anything approaching that had happened I'd have heard it from my Mom. Whew!
Perhaps not in graphic detail, though. For the longest time I heard Mom say she was knocked out during my delivery. I think I was an adult before she told me that was only the very end of it (which makes you wonder the point).
At least you have a memorable day for a birthday each year. 😃
