@GottaLaff No discussion of skills acquired is honest or complete without noting that all but three slave states made it illegal to teach slaves to read and write -- the single most important skill ever.

@GottaLaff Watters and DeSantis both kidnapped, beaten, and forced into hard labor for the rest of their lives, but by the time their grandchildren are forced to go through it as well, you know, the kids have learned farming skills.
