@ironicbadger Are you keeping Ansible to deploy applications to the server? I am curious how much one can still do on NixOS with Ansible and what is the benefit of splitting up the responsibilities.

@dsander it's really only for docker compose configuration as i have a very mature self-built deployment solution to manage my containers via ansible.

i think everything else should be taken care of with nix natively.

@ljlapierre I found this solution on a forum and it worked. I don’t actually run ansible on the nix host, it’s just a target for my docker compose generator role.
Maybe that tweak would be worth trying.
