1989 Canada pressingI love both Tin Machine albums, but it has less to do with Bowie than it does with Reeves Gabrels. His guitar playing on both is otherworldly.
This album is better than the second on whole, but still not looked upon favourably by Bowie disciples and I don’t know why.
It is a killer metallic slice of art-rock. A pre-cursor (along with Pixies) for what would happen throughout the next decade.
