Favourite brands were bumgenius and Close Pop in for the all in one nappies.
I would also really recommend looking on Facebook nappy groups, you can often by second hand ones at a fraction of the price which is what I did for a lot of them.
My advice on use is to start small and be kind to yourself in the early days. In the newborn stage I decided to just use one cloth nappy around lunchtime and then increase the amount each day until I was eventually using cloth nappies all day, it stopped me from being completely overwhelmed!

Appreciate the answer! Yea definitely thinking of mostly starting with disposable (since so many friends/family are buying them for us anyway) and easing into cloth to see if it works. The all-in-ones or pockets looked to be the best as a direct replacement since it seemed you could have them pre-made and get them onto the kid quick rather than worry about the different folds at 3AM which was the wifes main concern.
