To be clear this was decades ago. For all I know the adderall's gotten better.
I've been around a lot of other drugs, recreationally and otherwise. Ritalin, adderall and a few others were tried.
The best way I can describe it is a completely interrupts something that I use. I've never been able to describe it any other way. I've tried for years. @RickiTarr

There’s a commercial real estate crisis happening right now. And it’s affecting the bond market big time.
$700 billion of non-agency CMBS is outstanding and another $3 trillion of commercial mortgages on bank balance sheets. Even AAA-rated bonds are affected.
The last time we saw a real estate crisis like this was during 2008. Most analysts say this won’t be as big as the Great Recession, but I don’t know. Interest rates being what they are, and so many office buildings being empty, it’s only a matter of time that the domino effect gets in full swing.
Where the bond market goes, the stock market tends to follow.
As much as people bemoan inflation—it is annoying—deflation is much worse.
Deflation means people stop buying because their money becomes ever more valuable. Which means to more retail stock piling up. This, of course, affects supply as demand falls.
Deflation is rare in the USA, but it’s happened in Japan—it was one of the factors in their “lost decade”.
Now if commercial real estate falls in value, this means at least one sector of the economy will be deflationary.
