Sigh. And not on healthcare. Wonder when our "fiscal" Conservative premiers are going to realize healthy people are the main ingredient in a healthy economy.
@gemelliz@dmacphee@Lorian “I think the real question is why would the government not want to implement this? Do they not want to save the $40 million? Do they not want to make life more affordable for every day Albertans and improve the maternal health in this province and help support women to get back into the workforce and let them choose when they want to have pregnancies?”
@auscandoc@gemelliz@dmacphee@Lorian if it was just the UPC, I'd say it's all about "owning the libs", but forgot about TBA... These Christians say it's about birth control but denying INSULIN?!? ALBERTA, WAKE THE F*CK UP!!!
@gemelliz@Lorian I think any Canadian resident in Alberta should demand to opt in to the federal plan and defy the province - in court. It would be part of the charter right to live and work anywhere in Canada and enjoy the same benefits as all Canadians.
@auscandoc
Yup. Premier Smith and Conservative leader #Poilievre are anxious to ride this idiocy wave before Canadians start asking too many questions.
This morning, Alberta's Premier urged Trudeau to call an early election.
