@MuseumJoe#MARCHintosh miracle! If you can check your #GlobalTalk Lasterwriter and see if my eMate printed out via LocalTalk! I hope it did. I'll post the odyssey to get this to print in a few moments.
Speaking of #Marchintosh, is this the year when the content page links to "Content on the Fediverse"? I'll definitely put out one or more SimCity/SimAnt playthroughs on PeerTube: https://diode.zone/c/dragfyre_games/videos
The major differences: you need to find an instance to host your videos, as there's not a single one; no monetization so you need to have other platforms for that.
I got an untested SyQuest 88MB removable SCSI drive and some 88MB cartridges are coming soon. I had one of these in the past so this scratching a retro itch for me.
Anyone have modern experience with them? How likely is the drive to work? Do they always fail over time, have known issues, etc?
Got my A2 VidGA from @MuseumJoe yesterday and hooked it up today. It works really well and I'm very excited that it almost fully emulates Video-7 / AppleColor RGB. This will make emulator coding much easier ... and cheaper! Thanks, Joe!
And massive thanks to folk like @mac84tv and @MuseumJoe who will do casual recapping streams for fun. Seeing that it's actually doable and fine and that when things go awry there's often some sort of fix is really helpful for us relative n00bz :D
