I want to challengea misconception on this now viral post: it’s tempting to blame Air Canada here but this is a common problem across most airlines in North America. It happened to me on Virgin Australia. This is the consequence of a lack of standards for #accessibility in air travel. This is an issue for the air travel industry, and in my opinion, the governments who regulate it. #accessibletravel
I found an interesting service that helps people pay their restaurant bills on their phone. The original goal was to help restaurants turn the tables much faster. But there is so much more to it, all of a sudden it makes it possible for people with disabilities to pay in an accessible way.
So, I talked to the owner, and took it for a test ride, you can read my experience: https://evengrounds.com/checkplease-a-service-to-make-restaurant-payments-accessible/
