GOP just passed a bill to deport the undocumented for DUIs. I don't drink, but this bill does not make us any safer.
•The national undocumented rate is 3.5% per State.
•MT, WY, & SC's rates are .5%, 1.1%, & 1.8%, respectively.
•MT, WY, & SC have the highest rate of drunk driving deaths.
Even the Cato Institute admits, undocumented immigrants "do not affect overall drunk driving deaths."
150 Democrats voted NO on this bill. My opponent Bill Foster voted Yes 🙄
