Mit der Fritz!Box VPN & VOIP zusammen unterwegs nutzen
Die Fritz!box von AVM ist weit verbreitet und bietet in der Grundausstattung VPN und VOIP-Telefonie. Mit ein paar Einstellungen kann ich mein Smartphone damit einbinden.
I lost my disk #encryption password. The hand written password does no longer work. I don't know why...
I have a backup, but that disk is also crypted.
All my passwords are in a keepass database file.
This is on the cryted disk and backup.
I also have a backup on my #Fritz.box nas. But the password is ... In the manager.
I have a Fritz VPN to my Fritz box stored on my android phone.
Any recommendation on how to get back acces to the password manager database file?
Help is very welcome.
I fear I need to contact some company and pay Monet to get back my access :(
UPDATE: I could solve the issue by decrypting my very bad handwriting. And I'll now put back my keepass file onto a server a a level of backup and will print out the most important passwords instead of keeping handwritten backups.
Kennst sich jemand mit den Innereien eines FritzDECT 200 aus? Meiner schaltet nicht mehr, d.h. obwohl auf ON kommt kein Strom durch und ich höre auch das Relais nicht klacken. #fritz#avm

Ich habe hier noch Helmut Pflegers "Die schönsten Partien der Schachgeschichte" in 3 Bänden, die ich mir sehr gerne noch mal ansehen würde. Die Multimediaausgabe ist also wichtig, nicht nur Brett und Notation.
Ich habe hier auch noch "Bobby Fischers Fritz" und ein paar Fritztrainer, aber die Pfleger-DVDs wären am wichtigsten.

Playing around with my #HomeAssistant setup and some smart thermostats, and considering where I want to go from here.
Currently, I am running two Fritz!DECT thermostats (a 301 and a 302), and they both work fine. However, I don't necessarily want to lock myself into the #Fritz Ecosystem forever, and the thermostats are quite pricey.
I only see two alternatives at the moment: Go with a #Zigbee thermostat with #Zigbee2mqtt, or try a Bluetooth thermostat like the eqiva eQ-3, which are cheaper, but require me to also set up some #espHome bluetooth proxy devices. However, since I also wanted to look into #espresence, the bluetooth proxies wouldn't be too terrible a price to pay, as they could pull double duty for both, I guess.
So, since I had some success with these things, I'm asking the #SmartHome community here on Mastodon: Any recommendations on where to go from here? Stick to what works and shell out the money for the Fritz hardware? Or is there a specific, easy to use and affordable Zigbee Thermostat you can recommend? I'm a bit afraid of going the Bluetooth route, as there seem to be only a low two-digit number of installations using the relevant integration...
Based in Germany and using a "normal" radiator (the Fritz devices fit without any adapters, but I don't know what the exact type name of the threading is).
