Discovered #Cloudflare Tunnel today, and it didn’t disappoint. I was able to set it up locally, and I’ve used it to temporarily expose a little webhook project to the net. The docs were straightforward, it asked me to auth once via browser, the rest happened in the terminal.

Not sure how I feel about this: I’m a paying #ngrok user for the only reason that I like having a static domain. ngrok just announced “static domains for our free users.” In theory I no longer need to pay… but paying helps them.

I've been using ngrok for this purpose until now, but wanted to play around with CloudFlare Tunnels, and I really like that setup. It seems a lot faster than ngrok too, and I can use my own domain name!
