The isolated bass track from Metallicas Orion proves that Cliff Burton was a master of his instrument
Orion without guitars and drums is still a majestic experience. Thats how incredible Cliff Burton was.

Astronomers used JWST to study molecules in a protoplanetary disk in the Orion Nebula to follow the destruction and replenishment of water. Planet-forming disks are places of chaotic activity. Not only do planetesimals slam together to form larger worlds, but it now appears that the process involves the destructive recycling of...
If you look at the Orion constellation there are the distinctive stars forming the belt and sword in the centre. The middle “star” of the sword is actually the Orion Nebula - M42. This is that nebula. One of the brightest it is also the closest star forming region to earth. This is a composite of 290x10s shots stacked from last night #ZWO#SeestarS50#Aberdeenshire#Scotland#Orion#Astro
Shot IC434 (Horsehead) & M42 (Orion) in one frame, 2 sets. The first set is meh, got walking noise and that’s a thing. The second set I’ve fixed it (kinda) but the sky wasn’t clear and shooting with a full moon .. is… interesting. <insert loads of tech nerd stuff here>. But I still kinda managed it in post processing so here we are. #astrophotography#orion#horseheadnebula
