• Debugging and fixing CFLAGS and FORTRAN compiler environment include paths for a container image base

Often #DevOps means fixing the same decades-old problems with newer, shinier tools.

👋 #rlang users, I'm a single maintainer of the extraDistr package. It has 1.4M downloads and ~40 other packages depend on it. My last attempt to send an update to CRAN failed because my package failed some cryptic checks they introduced. Now I was warned that, even though I didn't change anything, it failed some new CRAN tests as well and if not fixed, the package will be removed from CRAN.
