For the aqueduct of Segovia/. It was built in the late 1st/early 2nd c. AD and supplied water to the city until the mid 19th century. It's one of the best-preserved aqueducts and an impressive work of engineering.

The fantastic Norton Disney dodecahedron intrigues everyone. There are other complete examples, e.g., this one from Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt.
We still don't know what those mysterious devices were used for. Any suggestions?

For a section of the Eifel that supplied water to the city of Cologne. The vaulted underground tunnel with an inspection shaft at Mechernich-Breitenbenden was unearthed during construction work in the late 1970s. The estimated maximum flow rate of the aqueduct was 250 liters per second. At that rate, the aqueduct would have supplied Cologne with 20 million liters of water each day!
