“A state judge overseeing the election-interference case against Trump in #Georgia has scheduled a hearing for Feb. 15 to hear evidence regarding accusations that #FaniWillis & her lead prosecutor engaged in an improper relationship and mishandled public money.
Judge Scott McAfee also wrote in his order that Willis must respond to the accusations in writing by Feb. 2” #TrumpIndictment
Hey, if tens of millions of asswipes are allowed to idolize #Trump, a washed up, smelly professional wrestling character rapist with who-knows-what growing among the folds of his #syphilis-infected loins, I’m allowed to stick by #FaniWillis.
"The Houston Health Department, which declared a local syphilis outbreak last year, lost about $4.2 million of grant funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a result of the federal debt ceiling deal. Cases of syphilis in newborns (from birth parent) has increased 755% in last 10 years. If baby survives until delivery, they might develop blindness, deafness, developmental delays, or skeletal abnormalities if not treated properly. There is lack of testing and lack of treatment for pregnant people. Dr. Griffin describes both denial of a positive #syphilis test but also a shortage of common treatments. It’s important to start treating right when a pregnant person tests positive.
The U.S. is heading to #1 with a bullet...in cases of syphilis per 100,000 live births. In 2019 the U.S. was in P3 but it looks like they're in the lead now. (77.9 in 2021.) Sadly, this is totally preventable. Totally.
"A major barrier for testing alternative antibiotics for #syphilis was the inability to culture the causative agent of the disease [however] it is now possible to test T pallidum susceptibility to antimicrobial agents to determine the [MICs] associated with each compound."
