I, again, have not been very active still, but I have excuses to explain this:
I’ve been having a lot of ups and downs recently so that’s not very good.
I was sick for a few days, and I probably still am a little bit
I’ve been having terrible sleep lately, usually sleeping 5 or 6 hrs per night to 3 or 4 hrs per night.
Anyway, I’ve seen people following the @Threaded account and I’m very happy that it gets more and more traction, although things haven’t moved a lot lately, due to the reasons given above. I’ve mostly been working on side-projects and/or private projects (that will make me earn some buckaroonies aka. Euros.)
To all my beta testers! Prepare for an update: #Threaded v0.4.1! It includes polls, grouped notifications, widgets, Apple Watch mini-app, AND SO MUCH MORE!
It’s the BIGGEST update to date!! So prepare yourself!
Gonna take a small break of @Threaded after the next update drops... I have a few other smaller projects in mind, as well as bigger projects. Of course that isn't a full stop of #Threaded, it still requires a lot of work. But I wanna adventure myself a little deeper into the #Fediverse... Keep an eye out.
Ever tried to get closer to your attachments? Well #Threaded allows this now! Zoom, move and switch images just with your fingers/or voice if you have VoiceOver activated
To anyone looking for a minimalistic Threads-like Mastodon app for iOS, @Threaded is pretty good!
They're in TestFlight right now and I'm sure they'll be working on it for a bit before releasing it.
A bit TOO minimalistic for me personally because I'm already used to the "feature packed" @IceCubesApp, but if you don't mind a feature lite app, Threaded is definitely worth a look!
I don’t know who you are, I think. But my guy, that downloaded #Threaded on iPad, which I thought I disabled. Tell me more. I need to know your secrets.
The TestFlight will have a few "rounds". The first one will be exclusive to beta testers, such as contributors, credited individuals, etc, in order to obtain an overall outside experience of the app.
The second round will be public, but with a limited number of users. It might start with 20 users and then cap it at 40 if necessary, in order to get a broader overview of the targeted audience.
The last round will be public and fully released on the App Store.
How about if we take some time off from talking about Threads (TM) the Instagram/Facebook/Meta App, and instead talk about the best #interfaces for displaying and building a conversation #thread on the internet?
For a bit, I was chatting with some people I know from Euphoria about whether we could conceivably build a #Matrix client that would mimic Euphoria's #threaded conversation experience, and we realized that (technical challenges aside), we would quickly run into this exact issue if we tried to use this client to communicate with people using a more mainstream client, such as #Element.
