Great follow-up to yesterday’s Wisconsin AG indictment of Chesebro, Troupis, and Roman. It always bugged me that not enough attention was paid to Troupis’s and Ron Johnson’s role in trying to get the slate of fake electors to VP Pence. "Felony forgery charges were filed in Wisconsin on Tuesday against two attorneys and an aide who helped submit paperwork falsely saying that former President Donald Trump had won the battleground state in 2020.
WI’s AG filed charges against an aide & 2 attys who advised Trump over a meeting of #Republicans who claimed to be the state’s 2020 presidential electors even though Trump had lost the state.
The charges are the first in WI related to the meeting of electors. Prosecutors have separately charged Republicans who were involved in similar efforts in #Arizona, #Michigan, #Nevada & #Georgia.
