Turns out, I set the z-offset at -2.00 and it scratched the living daylights out of the metal plate. So nothing -- nada! -- can stick to the plate now. So, with no ability to affix things to the moving platform, all my prints fail in catastrophic fashion.
... that's a learning experience, that's for sure... Hopefully my nozzle doesn't also need replacing... #Anycubic
I don’t think that’s supposed to happen after a firmware upgrade on a brand new #anycubic#kobra 2. The print head literally plowed through the print bed.
After ONE DAY!!!
I really hope Anycubic Customer Support is up to par … #3DPrinting#3dprintfail
alright so this morning i recieved training on a resin printer at the shop and I had not done well with my time so I had to run to the airport for a people pickup before I could run any test prints. but it ocurred to me. i do have a resin printer. i can't use it at home until I have ventilation to protect the birds. so why dont I just bring it with me?
Alright, trying a freshly reformatted <16gb usb and firmware upgrade. So far the #anycubic#photon doesn't want to take the firmware upgrade at all, and will not read .pws files only .photon files, the opposite of the newer photon s problems, or so I read.
So many of these older printers are crazy picky about the memory used. Getting flashbacks to the monoprice mini. Shudder. #3dprinting
