I love this hinge on D.B. Dobson's Art Nouveau masterpiece at 50 Darnley Street in Glasgow. At first it looks unexpectedly plain in comparison to the rest of the building, and then it hits you - it's a snake!
I kinda wish the #InternetArchive had a filter for "the digital scan still has the original cover".
Because many of these 19th century books had amazing cover illustrations, especially if they were from the #ArtNouveau era. But unfortunately, the binding of most of the books that were digitized was eventually replaced entirely, and the covers were lost to history.
I love this decorative Art Nouveau metal plaque of Neptune in a doorway of the Miller and Lang building on Darnley Street in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow.
My Ukrainian contacts informed me about a new collection of #artnouveau inspired chocolates - collection is dedicated to the outstanding architect and builder Ivan Levinsky :-)

It's great to see Clarke and Bell's Art Nouveau style saloon bar on Dumbarton Road in Partick finally getting a decent make-over. Built for Philip MacSorley (who also owned MacSorley's on Jamaica Street) in 1900 on the site of an older pub called the Clan Vaults, it's previously been known as The Roost, Wall Street, The Exchequer, The Fitter and Firkin, The Clinic and Boho.
