Hey, self-hoster friends. Could you suggest me a public bookmarking tool that I can host on my machine? Preferably, something lightweight that I can use to create lists of links and share with people.
I recall several months ago someone here talking about building a new #bookmarking/link collecting app/platform à la Pinboard. Did that ever go anywhere? Or does anyone have any recs? I just saw @omnivore is a thing. Would that be good for this? (I currently use @instapaper for read-later.) Help!
Are “we” still using online (social) #bookmarking services?
I’m still on #Pinboard, which is fine. Tried #Wallabag 😐 … #Shaarli hasn’t seen a release in 2 years… Anything I’m missing? Maybe something Fediverse/ActivityPub-enabled? #FreeSoftware (#selfHosted optional)
