Last weekend on Stage+ I watched Lisa Batiashvili, Gautier Capuçon and Zubin Mehta perform . I have most of 's album, she is a lovely , with a clear unique style. I had never visually seem her perform before. But of course, , seemed to me, to try to steal the performance. He is a good and he has been on some really good albums as a collaborator, but he rubs me the wrong way. He is not that great. Perhaps he's a nice guy.

Ah, my god, this cello, this cellist. <3

Camille Thomas is the latest cellist to be playing the Feuermann Stradivarius, a 1730 instrument with an incredible history—having been in the hands of cellists such as Franchomme, de Munck, Feuermann, Isserlis, Ishizaka, and now Thomas.

This is a wonderful performance of the Largo from Chopin's Sonata, Op. 65, arranged for cello and piano, in Hong Kong.
