So a few of my friend got into #Danmei and are giving me a feel for it. Being a fan of Wuxia / Xianxia I don't need much to get into it, but it still took me some time.
My partner fell in love with Scum Villain and Grandmaster and talked to me about it, but I wasn't sure which one to start. Recently, I heard that Huksy and White Cat ( #erha ?) was pretty good, but also wrecked the reader, so I inst-bought the first novel.
I didn't think I would get this much into the characters, the main boy Mo Ran being an evil asshole really helps? I wish he would do a little more, but at the same time getting to know the cast works for me. I'm halfway done
From danmei books I own Thousand Autumns is definitely hardest/slowest to read for me.
Political plot is too complicated to read fast but too important overall for world building to just skim over and ignore.
I love the book tho, especially Yan Wushi being... himself 😂
On the other hand, ERHA is amazingly easy to read. Shorter chapters help. Not only I have a lot of good places to take a break but also it totally causes "One More Chapter Syndrome" ❤️ 🥰
So... after reading tgcf volume 6... I finally started erha (because apparently I hate myself 😂)
I have one problem with that book. I mean I know huskies can be a bit silly but they are still very intelligent doggos. Smart creatures.

I really love the book tho. I somehow read it much faster than most books (it's probably author's style thing because it was similar with Yuwu for me).

Fuck you! I found it somewhere else which would be much more expensive but they have free delivery above some price so I also cancelled my two first volumes of erha from amazon and reorder it in this shop.

I started first volume of Remnants Of Filth yesterday and I really like it!
It's probably gonna be very long series tho so rip wallet.

Started reading #erha and I'm very impressed with the translation so far. It reads smoothly.
This is the trouble with being into localised media and also working in that industry myself -- I always end up looking at things from a professional perspective rather than just as a fan.
