Su Mucheng and Chu Yunxiu!

@gekidasa same, I have just a tiny bit of affection (more like nostalgia) for them and mostly I dabble in JC heavy fandom side anyways XD.

Is it bad to feel a little sad about someone referring to the tiny ficlets I've posted to AO3 as "prompts"? :(

They obviously meant well, and it was a positive comment, but... I've never referred to them as prompts. Even the not!fic ones that aren't as polished are intended to be complete, standalone ficlets in their own right. Even the /very/ short ones.

Of course I'd be overjoyed if anyone made something based on them. But I feel that way about all my fics!

@biasto_bias No it's not! You put your heart into it and it feels bad if someone just dismisses them as prompts. I've never quite felt confident to post my short ideas on ao3 tbh. The only things I post are the longer ones.

People should read other xianxia before this book like??? Some of the JC antis makes my blood boil. And also some of the takes they (canon couple unhealthy fans) have are blood-boiling. Like, they are having fights over the things that were common etiquette in the past. It is not really far-fetched for YZY to be telling WWX to be protecting JC. HE IS HEAD DISCIPLE OF FUCKING COURSE HE SHOULD PROTECT THE SECT HEIR.

I’ve been a Buddhist for 10+ years & have always shied away from chanting, but after listening to a variety of Buddhist chants in a variety of languages, including English, I think that was far too hasty a decision. Chanting as an aid to developing concentration is woefully under-appreciated by Western Buddhists like me who came to Buddhism via the insight meditation tradition, I think. I will definitely be trying this practice for myself!

@annedraya I have been a Buddhist since I was born but yeah, chanting is my one of my fav parts! It's relaxing (to me) and I find myself calming down every time!
