I pulled this lipstick plant out of a skip outside the vet over a decade ago when I was living in London - there were three of them but I could only carry one and a feisty cat in a carrier. It plodded along for years in various places I lived in the interim until I left it at my parents' house last year, and some magical combination of light and conditions there mean it's now thriving.

Silver dragon alocasia. Spectacular thick silver green leaves with dark green veins. Glorious plant
My thriving jewel orchid, absolute favourite plant. It had a shaky start but seems to be happy now. The leaves are dark green with bright green, glistening veins. Growth pattern is crawling, and there’s so many tiny baby leaves
My string of turtles. Small round green leaves with dark dappled markings like tortoise shells. Its growing lots of new trailing stalks finally

I made this open terrarium in October 22 and the growth is impressive. I’ve cut the polka dot plant back so many times but it keeps growing huge. And that Fern! Not even sure what to do with it at this point #terrarium #houseplantsofmastodon

I got this cutting from @stavvers on 13th May and it’s spent summer growing like all hell 🥲 My trads have done so well, the other is from a cutting too #houseplantsofmastodon #tradescantia

The same tradescantia cutting after 3.5 months, it is now 3 stalks with around 15 new leaves. Pink white and purple variegation looking beautiful

Hello #PlantParents! My #Tradescantia has some kind of #Pest going on. I don't think #MealyBugs, as whatever they are are too tiny, and don't match in appearance to images I've seen.
They really are tiny bugs, less than 1mm. Light in colour, and have set up home on the leaves, close to the stem (is this the node??) There is a very fine web like structure, with white dust, but I don't think it's general dust - bigger, whiter particles than original household dust. Continued in reply toot...
