Looking at my top picks for meaning I am struck by their bittersweet nature. This one predates my discovery of Trance; from the height of my interest in Industry.
I don't know how many times this went into my car's CD player after a hard day of work.
It's #TuneTuesday and the theme is #PowerSongs (cc @Kitty / @The_KamikaZEN) and it might sounds weird, but angry songs tends to give me tons of energy. This one, in particular, I used to listen to it in my way to work for a while.

It says they started out in 2014 as a goth n roll (?) project. They apparently went through some reinvention. I still think you can hear the gothyness in their newest album. What do you think @Kitty

Ministry released their fourth album, “The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste”
Another move towards the industrial metal sound they’d become known for, this time with lots of guitars. In the 80s, they were a new wave synth pop band.
Their previous record, 1988’s “The Land of Rape And Honey” introduced a much more aggressive metal sound, though with more sampling and less guitar.
They toured a lot in support of this album, and iirc, the industrial metal sound was ascendent at this time (e.g. Pretty Hate Machine came out a month prior and was building a fan base).
