Just bought #jieshuo screen reader, also known as Commentary. I don't know how to close apps and it seems to work best in landscape orientation. Any idea how to make it work with portrait orientation and how to close apps?

@rooktallon you need to invert your swiping gestures, and to close apps, you need to go into the menu and find your actions button

rooktallon,

@evilcookies98 I just turned on multi-finger gestures and it works the way I want it except for that it works better in landscape mode.

And for what its worth, it ain't half bad for what it is! Although, Braille/external keyboard support ain't there yet. Gotta start somewhere...

jamminjerry,

@queenslight I wouldn't say it is true compition yet, but it is getting there.

Hmmm...

Time to see how well I can replicate either the and/or keyboard experience with the screen reader's 'Hotkey Scheme' feature. The default has 'waaaaaaaay' too many conflicts in my view (particularly if using web browsers that support keyboard shortcuts).

And since people are able to share said keyboard layouts, anyone thought of creating a or / layout?

Greetings!

I just purchased @apps from the Play Store for $2.49 USD (though can also be gotten from F-Droid or it's many interfaces).

The app from a user perspective does work okay with both and Talkback, though if you're coming from the camp particularly, there is currently no 'actions' menu for items, thus taking the for Android interface route.
