Reliving the tour of last year in Norway is fun, but we must not lose focus on the wonderful things of today. 😜
The plan to go to the Jungfraujoch (3'463m) and the Mönchsjochhütte (3'657m) paid off big time. We went early to avoid the crowds (almost impossible), but we managed to reach the Jungfraujoch early enough to be amongst the first there.
We started the hike to the Mönchsjochhütte straight away and guess what, we were the last ones to be let through! Near the hut there is a crevasse, which needs to be filled up daily, and they do not want to have crowds then. We were lucky and almost alone on the mountain.
