Flashback to that time (cough … last night) when @AlSweigart not only gifted us #Pythonista folk with yet another fantastic ⚡️🗣️ (I mean ASCII art music video whhhhha?!) but also charmed us with the dancing and possible new entire way to make a music experience.
@_chrismay Indeed!! 🥳👌🙏 However, next problem now: The extractText() function of this old PyPDF2 version unfortunately doesn‘t separate all the text node‘s text with \n or \r (or a combination) like the newer version‘s extract_text() function does. That‘s a big bummer because I really need that in my project. 🧐 Ah, well, maybe I need to switch to the Mac and have to abandon #Pythonista at this point. 🤷♂️ @olemoritz
I've been "trying" to learn #Python for over a year now & continue to find myself easily discouraged when concepts that are presented as "basic" are far from it for me. Eventually my frustration wins out & I take a long break, only to try again & restart the learning all over.
Beyond try, try, try, try, try again... any other hot tips? If it would help, what excites me is being able to code a Discord bot to do... stuff. If the "basics" are too much, is that goal too lofty?
