Made this dress last month to wear to a friend's wedding. Started with a 1930s evening gown pattern, but had to make some alterations to the shoulder area because I just couldn't seem to make the original version work.
Finally done my 1940's wrap dress! This was a terrible fabric to work with and I'm amazed the finish product actually resembles a garment and not a puddle of chiffon. 😅 Lesson learned, hopefully no more finicky fabrics for awhile.
