@hugh what, putting coins in a bottle? Oh yes, huge in 1970s UK working class culture. Get a huge empty whisky bottle from a pub, stick it in the corner and fill it gradually with loose change. Then empty it, take it to the bank and convert it to a three day caravan holiday in Minehead

    @sampe it's just grim. I go to save something on my c: drive while in airplane mode, first thing PowerPoint does is "contacting server for information"

    @albertcardona there are obvious advantages for collaboration on single documents for a well implemented cloud based (or better, federated) system. Sadly o365 isn't it

    @albertcardona agree - I use Synology drive for personal stuff and it works fine. The problem is the software choices made by big companies - including my employer

    My train from Žilina to Prague arrived four minutes ahead of schedule. Good job, ČD. This hotel room for €47 is very worth its price. Bathtub even. Just a 15 minute walk from the station. Now a quick rest and then some nightlife. (Recommendations, anyone?) Must avoid tourist traps which can be a challenge in Prague.

    Tomorrow I will continue to Kiel (as hotels in Hamburg were expensive) (there is a direct train even) and then on to Malmö, night train to Stockholm, and boat to Turku.

    @Jonas_Bostrom @tml 25 kV ist die Nennspannung. Die tatsächliche Spannung kann je nach Bedingungen stark variieren – in Großbritannien beträgt das Maximum 27,5 kV. Die Verwendung der Obergrenze als Zeichen ist ziemlich sinnlos.

    Ich hoffe, Google Translate kommt mit diesem Text gut zurecht!
