It’s absolutely insane that we would protect corporations from public competition. Restricting public options is absurd, just another example of why things have gotten so shitty and expensive. It’s absolutely apparent that our government is controlled by big money corporations.
This is a part of the beginning of it. Centralization results in layoffs and worse products. This is why we have antitrust laws, now they go unenforced because of corruption. AI is going to replace a lot of jobs and we’re going to get shittier products while the winning corporations continue to make more money. Winner take all system is bad for everyone.
If we get another 4 years of Trump, at least we’ll know why. The system just needs less people to vote for Trump to win. If we get another 4 years of Trump it’s going to be Biden’s fault, not mine.
Great bandaid. Now stop all federal student loans otherwise this problem is just going to continue. The idea of the government cyclically giving out loans and then cancelling them is the stupidest shit I keep reading as a valid solution.

The grip of the pistol has a nook in it, the handle at the top is much more narrow. It creates the illusion that her thumb is really long, but really most of her palm is behind the pistol grip because it’s so much wider at the base it hides it.
Holy shit I thought this was The Onion. They are clinging at straws. Fuck corporate greed, all my homies hate big corporations. Never flying with them again.
You’re referring to something that is changing and getting better constantly. In the long term LLMs are going to be even better than they are now. It’s ridiculous to think that it won’t be able to replace any of the workers that were fired. LLMs are going to allow 1 person to do the job of multiple people. Will it replace all people? No. But even if it allows 1 person to do the job of 2 people, that’s 50% of the workforce unemployed. This isn’t even mentioning how good robotics have gotten over the past 10 years.

Most sources indicate that the term “jay driver” came before “jaywalker” there being numerous article headlines from 1905 through the next decade that include the term “Jay Driver.” Peter Norton’s book Fighting Traffic on 78 indicates that in 1922 use of the term “jay driver” was an attempt by George A. Davies to use the known meaning of “jay walker” and apply it to drivers of vehicles.
I think you missed my point. The joke is the idea that one asshole driver spoils the ability to drive for anyone else, shitting on the statement “Don’t ride like an asshole or you might get ebikes banned in your area”. Replace with “Don’t drive like an asshole or you might get cars banned in your area” with the same logic. Would never happen, because fuck this system and our infrastructure strictly designed to benefit oil companies.
It’s incorrect to assume he doesn’t have any knowledge of economics. If you ever listen to him speak about Reagan you’d understand that yes, he does have an understanding of economics, just not from the perspective of someone brainwashed by the system.
Whataboutism. Comparing the situation between Israel and Palestine to North Korea isn’t smart. And you say what “we’ve” done to Palestinians, I haven’t done anything to them, I didn’t vote for any of that shit.
Fuck that title. No such thing as too many solar panels. The only thing that is bad is how the energy is used or if it’s wasted. Free energy should mean algae production which would mean carbon negativity. Negative energy price should mean negative carbon emissions, get on it.
