Aermis,

Whats ARM? And how does it replace a GPU?

Aermis,

How does x64 architecture play in this? I that x86 was out dated and not used. Something about fat32 and ntfs hard drives? Man I know so little of computers even thought I’ve been tinkering with them most of my life.

Aermis,

Hmm… My kia console just broke (literally just the clasp snapped) but to fix it I need a whole console which will cost $400. It’s literally just an L shaped piece of plastic that I can glue to the handle mechanism but that L piece went missing. So I took some Legos, glued them into an approximate shape, and then sanded it down to the right dimensions. Console lid now closes, with a fashionable colorful Lego clip lol. If I had a 3d printer…

Aermis,

Now that you’re into the hobby, what would you recommend to someone that would put good use to a 3d printer? Albeit I don’t quite understand the software side of it quite yet.

Aermis,

I’m sober for a year now. Yeah don’t normalize it, but mind your own business.

Aermis,

Ok can it be translated to meat on the table with costs and impact being less than actual pig slaughtering? I wouldn’t even mind the taste being a little different

"Starfield's lead quest designer had 'absolutely no time' and had to hit the 'panic button' so the game would have a satisfying final quest" (www.pcgamer.com)

““We were finally at a state in the project where we could play through the whole [game]. And it became very clear that we were missing the large final location that was going to tie the story together and have a satisfying action-filled payoff,” Shen said. “I was both implementing the main quest and leading the quest...

Aermis,

I would have been fine with a new game+ story but the main story got completely revamped for the second playthrough. Not just a few unique dialogue options.

What gets you downvoted?

What sort of post or comment gets you downvoted the most? Especially if you don’t think it’s bad behavior in the first place, or don’t care. Does not have to be on Lemmy, but we are here… One of the good things about Lemmy IMO is that it’s small enough to see the posts that are unpopular. If you do “Top Day” on...

Aermis,

Yeah, mentioning anything Christian, or saying something was taken out of context when someone quotes the Bible, instantly turns into a debate and how I’m pro slavery. It just goes off the rails.

Aermis,

I got down voted and flamed because my career as a commercial wireman (construction) relies on offices being occupied. So much relies on employees being in these high rises people can’t grasp the chain of economical collapses of these buildings being empty.

Aermis,

Wow that looks like an amazing software. I think I saw this year’s ago when I was messing around with plex before plex became as big as it is. I guess the question is what hardware would I use? Would a raspberry pi have the necessary processing power to stream through wifi my pc content, or play it’s own content online?

I’m very ignorant when it comes to small devices like this, and I’ve never dabbled in anything besides windows, As much as I’d love to have the enthusiasm and knowledge of the Linux community here on lemmy.

Aermis,

Sounds like an easy solution if you have a TV and TV remote that can turn it on and off.

This seems like what I was thinking. A pi with software, and kodi seems the best so far.

Aermis,

Thanks for the information and pointing me in a direction I can work with.

Aermis,

I’m thinking of the odrioid N2 after doing a little bit of research. It’s the finding the TV that might be an issue as you’ve said. I don’t want those smart tv’s and their countless user agreements and BS ads. I don’t want ads so bad, I’ll burn my TV down if I see any.

Aermis,

What about the odrioid N2? Looked pretty promising in other forums.

Aermis,

That might be a solution. A little over powered compared to a Vero or odrioid. Are you planning to game on it?

Aermis,

I’ve never liked voice activation but my wife might like that. Idk why Nvidia shield keeps coming up, it’s like the only mainstream streaming device that keeps popping up for people who like to stay away from streaming platforms.

Aermis,

I thought it was weird when the business card meme format showed them all as Vice President.

Aermis,

Dude I’m talking about ceceding kharkiv and Odessa to Russia which is what you are saying is a reasonable solution

Aermis,

Also it’s an election year. Biden isn’t refusing to send support. Congress is.

Aermis,

Considering the crippling wheat and other exports Ukraine provides for the west, yeah, there’s a lot of reasons to invest into Ukrainian victory and survival. I’m not niave to believe the US cares about Ukrainian lives.

Aermis,

If you like deck builders and poker style card games this is an excellent imagination of the 2. Very fun.

Aermis,

Source on producing almost nothing for a decade because the employees had freedom of work projects?
