You and another person can experience the exact same things and one can be traumatized while the other is not. Telling your children lies can be traumatic no matter what the context is, because it teaches the kid not to believe what you say is true or to expect fuckery, a bit like the crying wolf thing.
That’s what I remember, it was supposed to be an anthology season, each one new stories of people gaining powers and leaning to use them. Then “save the cheerleader save the world” was so damn popular the exec’s wouldn’t let the characters go
“An Ontario court ruled against popular clinical psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson and is upholding an order for him to receive social media sensitivity training or lose his license to practice medicine… The court declared Dr. Peterson’s activities as harmful to the public and damaging to the profession of psychology, with his statements threatening to erode public trust… …He has not worked in clinical psychology since 2017,”
Agree he hasn’t lost his license yet, as that is currently what is being threatened if he does not comply with the court order. Hasn’t actually happened yet, just will if he doesn’t.
As for being harmful… I don’t know how to spell this out any simpler than the quote so I’ll just make it easier to read I guess?
**THE COURT DECLARED DR. PETERSON’S ACTIVITIES AS HARMFUL TO THE PUBLIC AND DAMAGING TO THE PROFESSION OF PSYCHOLOGY **
I’m really not what there is to misunderstand, he is under threat of losing his license because his actions are HARMFUL TO THE PUBLIC AND THE PROFESSION OF PSYCHOLOGY
Not sure what the benefits of plotting this are… Costs more but let’s you wait to use it until you have more lands, but you could just not cast it until you wanted to anyway
Personally, I’m heading to Texas to see family. Flying out to Abilene, then the morning of I’ll drive out to the path, see the eclipse, and then drive on to San Antonio where I have more family.
I moved for work about 6 months ago and happen to be in the path of totality. Most of my family is coming out for the event, I’m excited to host everyone but it’s going to very busy with like 6-8 couples
There is a little more context than just “I should be allowed”
`` They changed the rules [two] years ago about what you need to do to have an alligator. I’ve had him 34 years and abided by all of them and renewed my permit annually as required.”
He added: “I tried renewing it when they changed their rules and had questions to ask. They ignored my emails and phone calls to make sure I did everything right even though I should be grandfathered in. ``
Seems like he did have a license he kept current, tried to renew said license and got denied. Probably because of keeping the animal secured or something like that, but it’s not like this guy was trying to just skirt the law for 30 years and thinks he should be allowed to continue, he appears to be trying to comply with the licensing.
