Ok so about the hearing thing… I’ve always assumed I’m somewhere on the spectrum, focus issues etc all the tell tale signs but like at a 2 or 3 tops. However, last like year I’ve been finding myself awake at night once or twice a week and i swear i can hear the cosmos. Literally every noise everywhere. Is it imagination? Combination?

Was driving to work at 4am one day on a really fuckin awful town side road on a really shitty day with fuck tons of snow. Came to the series of S curves in the road with a big stupid truck right on my ass. We met a state plow who should not have been in that road and looked to be pulled off to the side of the road quite a bit for us to go around. As we passed his plow it became very obvious that he was parked with his ass end almost completely blocking the road. I have no idea how i made it past him without smashing my car but the douchebag behind me was obv not skilled or lucky enough and was up my ass enough that he ended up in a ditch.

Fuck that guy.

They would look weak. It’s not about policy it’s about being tough on “insert any issue” and letting the fanbase lap it up.

The easy part about running on an anti-whatever policy is that if you keep people on drip fed fear and anxiety it hits a lot more people than it ever would in a content society. A miss isn’t a loss because it just falls on deaf ears for the people who are gonna vote that way anyway. If you are on the other side it’s a hit no matter what, you either agree or are disgusted which inches you just that little bit closer to the fear and anxiety point they ultimately want you at.

Reactionary politics are instant dopamine for everyone.

I get upset even i see nyc politics affecting upstate but it’s honestly usually just an inconvenience. If a business borrowed too heavily during the last 5 years/super lower interest rates cycle and are now really hurting because they couldn’t keep borrowing, they are choosing to reduce overhead ie employees. This was gonna happen no matter what IMO (i could be insanely wrong) but along came “AI” to solve all the problems aka shift the blame.

Like i said i could be way off but this seems like a fad that is gonna get scapegoated hard.
