Blyfh,

Reptiles also aren’t humanoid. This is just a form of abstraction that you have to accept. Otherwise their whole existence doesn’t make sense

Blyfh, (edited )

The post clearly addresses this problem. This discussion is not about the genetic risks of having children (which should be prevented according to OP), rather only about the relationship.

Blyfh,

Can you remove the SI blurb next time? Thank you :)

Blyfh,

Yeah, I don’t get that one either. As a German I’ve seen plenty of “Nudelsalate” which have pasta and mayonnaise.

Blyfh,

Wait till you find out about world music

Why does Sync not display some comments?

I’ve posted something today and somehow Sync gives me notifications in my inbox for replies to that post, but when I open the post, it can’t find any. I can interact with them just fine in the inbox and in the browser. But in Sync on the post, the number of replies is shown to be 4, while the comment section states that no...

Blyfh,

Absolutely not. I have maybe one blocked account – and that was a spambot.

Blyfh,

Why does this specific issue only happen to Sync then? I know that some things simply won’t load because they aren’t federated on your instance, which is not only a Lemmy-wide, but a Fediverse-wide issue. This only applies to some of the comments though, not the ones that I can see just fine in my browser.

Blyfh,

Doesn’t work. Sync just can’t load them.

Blyfh,

Yess!!

Blyfh,

I’m not sure, this was some time ago. But I think so, yeah.

Blyfh,

Thanks for the PSA :)

I’d argue that it’s still prejudice, as the word only means to assume behavior from the appearance alone. But in a positive way, as prejudices originally existed for self-protection.

Blyfh,

I worded that badly. What I meant was that the reason humans have prejudice-y thinking hardwired in the brain is for self-protection. If individuals of some ape species have a 30 % chance of being super aggressive and trying to kill you on the spot, your first reaction to seeing one will be negative and retiring – even if this specific one is super nice and wouldn’t hurt a soul.

Blyfh,

Took me a moment. Thought it was a queer flag for a sec lol

Blyfh,

Well, if you follow the principles of propositional logic, the only implies that Be Gay => Don’t Understand This. It doesn’t imply Don’t Understand This => Be Gay. So people who don’t understand this don’t necessary have to be gay. But all gay people have to struggle understanding this.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk

Blyfh,

Oof. I got Czechmated.

Blyfh,

W-wow. Thanks for sharing. Um… I’ll just go over there, yeah?

Blyfh,

Bahahhaha that’s great. Does this quote have a source or did you just freewrite this?

Blyfh,

Damn. That is really good writing. You should be proud. Have you considered doing something in this direction?

Blyfh,

So everything is pointless unless you remember it? Is everything pointless just because you die either way and everything will be lost?

Blyfh,

I’d interpret “no consequences” as absolutely no consequences, so a hard reset. In that way killed people get alive again, yes.
