CMHT called just to say that someone else from the CMHT will call tomorrow to arrange an appointment. So bit of a pointless phone call. I really don’t know what to do with myself, I can’t concentrate on anything, not even just listening to an audiobook. Reading and TV are impossible. I can’t take in all the detail on social media. But if I’m not distracted I’m constantly thinking about running away and harming myself.
It felt really good to turn in my uniforms, & badges today. Some people thought I was retiring. I wish, about 4 more years hopefully. I do feel a bit in limbo though cuz I haven't got a schedule yet. I hope that happens this week.
Thanks everyone for all the good vibes & positive thoughts. I did my paperwork, & drug test. Next week that should all clear & then I'll get a schedule. My new boss is nice & used to work at the same place I'm quitting. So she totally understands how I feel. I'm beyond thankful to be starting a new chapter soon.
I had a nice lunch with Max then I went and got my nails done ready for tomorrow’s costume. I came home and the house is being turned into a 50 themed party palace! So exciting
Awake when I should be fast asleep but it’s all right because I feel OK and that’s pleasant to experience. I think I’m going to stay awake a little longer just for the novelty of feeling safe. Tom’s snoring anyway 😂
