I feel on edge. Maybe it’s the obscene amount of caffeine I’ve consumed. I’ve just got to finish making the dinner, then after we’ve eaten I’ll probably continue reading The Burgess Boys by Elizabeth Strout, which I am very much enjoying #AmReading#bookstodon
Ah, our friend we were meeting at the pub tonight has cancelled. I put dinner in the slow cooker for when we got back, oh well, at least dinner is already done. We’ve decided that as it’s a nice evening we’ll stay home and light the fire pit. I’ll have a couple of 0% ciders
Not feeling great this evening. Low/anxious. Thinking of taking some sleep meds in an attempt to get to sleep earlier than 2am. Maybe improved sleep would lead to improved mood…?
Hmm. I’m enjoying this Stephen King short story collection, but he really should not try to write British characters who use “British slang”. It’s pretty cringe
After a long morning of loading the POD, stuffing the car, cleaning, scrubbing, double-checking, all on very little sleep… we’re off! #Canada here we come.
I’ve just booked to see a live broadcast of 42nd Street from the Theatre Royal at a local theatre. I’m going with my bestie. She asked her partner if he wanted to come and he sneered at tap dancing. Well he clearly doesn’t know what’s good. Fool. It’s a matinee, so we are going to go for a lovely brunch first. It will be great girls’ day out

I never had any side affects from the birth control I used. I had heavy painful periods & needed them for that after my child bearing years. Women need them for so many things besides preventing pregnancy.
Guess what, the visit from the social worker was FINE 🙄 We agreed she doesn’t need to see me again, the issue is not depression anymore but anxiety, confidence, feeling differently about myself and what I want to do with my life. Seeing a uni counsellor tomorrow for that stuff
