yeah I thought that was kinda funny, but OOP's users are Reddit users so I guess it makes sense. Once they have the MVP out probably it should move to a Lemmy community
Why YSK: making the most of the fediverse means aggregating content from as many places as possible, but it's not an intuitive process right now, especially for those using apps like Jerboa or Mlem....
No idea myself but we have to remember that not all the users that come try this will stay, so I anticipate once the Reddit nonsense blows over the community will shrink a bit. I am going to stay, but I was "lemmy curious" before the reddit business.
Help! I moved to Louisiana and put my hoya outside and the leaves are browning and dieing. This is happening pretty rapidly, over 2 or 3 days for the browning. My picture sucks but it is pretty widespread on the plant
Anyone play any Star Trek Tabletop games? (Specifically STA, the SFU games from ADB, or Attack Wing/Alliance)? I wanted to get a tabletop gaming magazine together for that, but I don't know if it has a justifying interest.

Well, within 4 days the moderators have walked back those statements and opened both subreddits up. I see no incentive for people to come to this website now and while a few...
Yeah, a rapid uptick and downtick makes sense. This platform takes some learning. As long as we post content and make this interesting people will stay and grow.
What it says on the tin, really. I think this is going to be an issue when they get around to the smaller communities... It's going to suck majorly, as most people's default will remain with reddit for community discussion like this...
I knew nothing about menstruation before I met my ex wife. Sadly she had to do what public school failed to do and teach me, buy understanding helped me take care of her when she had bad cycles and made me a better partner imo
I went searching for this and the only thing I could find were more people looking for a community similar to r/twoxchromosomes so I created it. I'm not a mod or a creator of the original subreddit, if any of those people find this and would like to join as a mod, absolutely let me know.
