These systems are so messed up I can't stop crying. Spend all day on the phone with the different offices and I just can't.

Additional need now of maybe $50 because I can't get food help again until they can prove I'm disabled. Even though I've been on disability before. All because I'm a student..🤦🏻‍♀️ make it make SENSE.

Total need including back rent and now food 1150..so 0/1150.

@skye in America we have organizations where caring adults can be a support for kids in need. One is called Big Brothers Big Sisters. They match you up with a child based on interests etc and you hang out. You can do whatever you both want. You're just there for the kid as a caring person. Do you have something like that in Germany?

@skye fair. I think there might be a way to do it online. But one thing I found over Google months ago was being a pen pal to a child. Often as like a school related thing for them. Would you have the energy to write letters?

I don't know why you'd want a walker that can roll away from you! It's so unsafe! Either put brakes on all the wheels or make it unable to move if accidentally pushed.

At least I thought to play around before I left the store and not take it home. Because the other walker is $600+ and I definitely don't have that (would've used my 5 years walker allowance from insurance).

@skye I've been falling because dysautonomia and I'm like ".....what if I fall into the walker in the process? It's going to roll away!" And I had a hard time with the brake on my left hand.

There's a walker designed for parkinson's called a u step. Neuro keeps one in clinic for people try because they see lots of parkinson's patients and CP is also movement disorder. So I tried it and I liked it. I'm thinking we'll get me one of those.

@skye seemed a lot more "sturdy" too. Like I know I could do something ridiculous and it would just stay there. I don't know how we're going to go about getting me one (like if we just have to write a regular scrip or if it's like a special order thing) but we'll figure it out.

I have a referral to see the dysautonomia specialist at the local hospital! Might have to wait for him to have appointments but hopefully he can help me figure out exactly why all this started.
