Wow, that is a lot of lost bookmarks. That sucks!

What does this mean ?

I meant if they were mostly in one folder, if the list is so long that when you open the folder, the bookmarks continue past the bottom of the screen so you’d have to scroll to reach the bottom. One of ny folders is like that 😅👀

Waterfox user here with no problems: All I can think of is that someone with access to your account (like maybe a family member while you were logged in) accidentally or purposely deleted them.

Sorry that happened to you. Change your password and make a backup next time!

I meant that the uneven distribution may be unfair, not that fairness = evenness. But yeah, I guess there’d be no way to tell what the optimal redistribution should be…

For PC, audacity has all these features, but its pretty clunky to use.

You could eliminate that clunkiness by building an AutoHotkey script to blaze through the menu to select and slow down the recording in one press.

Correct, Oracle VirtualBox was the furthest I went. It was interesting, but:

there is absolutely zero reason to not go the extra mile and hop to desktop freedom.

My digital life, in both professional and personal capacities, is intertwined with hundreds of my AutoHotkey scripts, which appears to be Win-only; AutoKey is the closest thing that I could find and is so much harder to use or even understand.

How do you handle your passwords?

I rely on Bitwarden (slooowly migrating from… a spreadsheet…) and am thinking of keeping a master backup to be SyncThing-synchronized across all my devices, but I’m not sure of how to secure the SyncThing-synchronized files’ local access if any one of my Windows or Android units got stolen and somehow cracked into or...

I guess it’s in cases when I may not be able to use Bitwarden, but… I suppose it can be used everywhere! Clearly, I’m new to this thing, so that’s good to know!
