Tonight, zone out, probably watch Judge Dee’s Mystery since I only have a couple episodes left, maybe play some Genshin Impact. Tomorrow I need to clean since my house is where the ttrpgs happen and Saturday is game day. Sunday idk - I had a really good time working on watercolors a few weeks ago so I think I will try to fit that in too.

Sitting on the back porch in Oregon City this morning. I’m recording and identifying birbs with a birb app. I can hear a woodpecker off in the distance. Last night we went to one of those casual sushi places with the food going by on a belt and you can grab whatever you like and start eating! I grew up in a rural village so I’m pretty easy to impress. I think we’re going on a helicopter tour tonight, I have never been in a helicopter so I hope it’s as super cool as it seems.
Just checked in for my flight to Portland tomorrow. Im looking forward to seeing fams (and their new puppy.)
Monday I interviewed for a new position at the same company where I work. I am super excited for the opportunity and I hope they hire me. Today we’re having a spicy food competition at work and I’m bringing some spicy edamame. I ground the chile for it last night so hopefully it turns out well.
So far so good! I didn’t think I’d get to see the eclipse at work today but one of my peers swung by my desk with some viewing glasses and said “go check it out!” I don’t dig going into the office but at least I get to work with good people.
I mean like I accept who I was born as but if given the choice I’d choose to be born a woman, yk? Idk but I kinda envy them a bit but i’m fine being an unsexy man...

Went to a Dave and Busters with my friends, got hella overstimulated but also played Halo and Rampage and some other stuffs. Ate pretzels and strawberry shortcake. Came home to watch cdramas and pass out. It was a good day.
Audiobooks, I listen while I’m working. I like paper books too, it’s lovely to sink into the pages. I don’t like reading stuff on a screen because I was born too soon.
The system feels very different compared to D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder. We skipped the first level where you have three characters you’re trying to keep alive, and started with just one character. Our players are level four now.
I kind of like the spell system because it gives a lot more variety than works/doesn’t work.
Yes! That is exactly why we scrapped that part and started at level two. We tried to play through it and all the players role played their level 0s accordingly and they all chickened out from trying to go up against a god.
We picked up some level two modules and went from there. We’re trading off DMs for each module which makes it fun for everyone. I ran three sessions of Rift of Seeping Night. Now we’re on something I think it’s called Through the Dragonwall.

This weekend I aim to relax as much as my children will let me. But my younger daughter turns one on Sunday. So, we’ll likely celebrate that.

My cat passed away around 2 years ago now. I miss him a lot, but just haven’t been financially stable enough to adopt another....
