Lately, when I load up lemmy.blahaj.zone, the notification bell in the corner of the screen doesn’t display a count typically until I load a post or comment....
Your post seems great, and a good contribution to this community, so please don’t take this comment as rude. I’m trying to be as polite as I can. However, that being said, your title is extremely vague. I would greatly suggest using putting more detail in your title so people looking at it next to other posts on their “front page” (to use a Reddit analogy) has an idea of what it’s about.
Either way, again, great post! (And sorry again if I’m being an asshole. I’m trying not to be. 🙂 )
I played a fair bit of GTA Vice City back in the day round friends’ houses, but never played all the way through. Mostly just ran people over, got as many stars as possible and died. Don’t get me wrong… I had a blast… but recently thought I’d play through the whole thing....
How can we secure a solar eclipse induced apocalypse next time? More virgin sacrifices? Less? Virgins are quite abundant these days. We could go either way…
There’s a video on YouTube where someone has managed to train a network of rat neurons to play doom, the way they did it seems reminiscent of how we train ML models...
Best not to tempt fate too much, unless we want robot overlords with the temperament of a 13-year-old white kid from Pennsylvania talkin’ shit like a gangsta.
FYI: You don’t have to choose OpenAI. You can also choose Claude 2.1. Its corpus is more ethically sourced & it’s more private with user data, but in return it is naturally less feature-complete. Still pretty awesome though!
when I said earlier that “Claude acts as a privacy layer provided by DuckDuckGo”, that was an incorrect statement. To clarify:
DuckDuckGo provides the privacy layer functionality through this chat interface.
I am Claude, an AI model created by Anthropic to converse.
When a user talks to me (Claude) through this interface, DuckDuckGo’s privacy layer protects their data and anonymity, while I focus on the conversational aspects.
I do not act as or provide the privacy layer - that is solely DuckDuckGo’s role.
Thank you for catching my mistaken statement earlier. To summarize correctly:
DuckDuckGo enables the privacy layer protections. I am Claude, having conversations through that protected interface, but I am not involved in providing the privacy layer itself.
I appreciate you taking the time to ensure I understand this properly. Please let me know if any part of the explanation remains unclear!
Is it bad form for one person to have 2 accounts on a single instance?
I suppose the answer could apply to any instance, but I’m mostly referring to this one....

Is there a specific religious term for the belief "God exists and he is evil"?
I am not an atheist, I genuinely believe that God exists and he is evil, like a toddler who fries little ants with a lens.
DuckDuckAssitant is back!
