Built a gameboy camera printer for someone, I'm kinda jelly because it's better then the one I built myself. Used a vape battery a esp8266 together with a Tp4056 charge board. When connected to a gameboy you can tell the camera to print to the esp8266, when reset it turns into a WiFi hot-spot so you can download the photos to your phone. This is the firmware that I flashed to the esp8266 https://github.com/HerrZatacke/wifi-gbp-emulator/blob/master/beginner_setup_guide.md

Same yellow box but the left side showing a USB C port for charging and a micro usb port for uploading new firmware

Been playing round with different labels styles for my NES style Gameboy carts shells. Really happy with how they came out. Been working on different stickers for different games.

Today's a good day to take down the Christmas tree, anyone that's new to 3d printing dont forget to keep your empty filament spools to wrap your tree lights up with

Finally finished my SNES GBA cart I've been sitting in since October of 2020. It's designed after the USA SNES cart and uses the same labels if you use locked scalling and set the width to 37.5mm. I've released the freecad and step files for this one you can can make changes where you see fit.

I really hate PETG, I can never get it to stick to my bed. Trying to print the Dummy13 model in PETG for the frame but even with runners it won't stick

Facelesstech,

@mcdanlj yeah I need to check the bed really, it's fine for PLA but thats alot more forgiving then PETG. It's a slightly textured glass bed with hairspray. The problem is I don't print with it very often so I'm not used to using it so I don't use it very often.

@mcdanlj ah yeah I need to tweak my PETG setting I think. Thanks for all the great advice

Think this was from GameStation in the early 2000's. See gameboys were affordable at some point in time

New blog post - Gameboy camera LED flash - I designed and made a flex PCB that adds a internal LED flash ring to a gameboy camera - https://facelesstech.wordpress.com/2023/07/03/gameboy-camera-led-flash/
It uses a Capacitive Touch chip so you can turn it on and off with a tap of the shell.

This is what makes 3d printing amazing. Yesterday my wife asked me to put up a rail to hang plants off in the kitchen. Found a broom handle in screw fix for £4.49 that was the perfect size. Designed and printed these brackets to fit the broom and screws I had on hand

3d printed bracket screwed to the wall with the broom slotted into it

@hackaday yes I did think that after I installed it.... Let's see how it holds up
