That one picture of even front-end visibility always stuck with me. It’s something stupid like 15 kids in a line and the driver can’t see them. You could drive into a classroom worth of children and not see it.
Because they’re part of the system run by the wealthy and powerful, and younger peeps not only have to claw their way into that microcosm, but are often then bought out / corrupted by that very system.
Sunk cost. The price for these “premium” cars is sillyz and the features don’t work. But people wouldn’t pay such a price for unfinished crap, right? Right?! So they justify it to themselves and get defensive.
So, this at least has an answer… if you have it enabled on your account, Amazon will email you about products you’ve bought or sometimes even just looked at. It’s worded as the question someone else posed, so some 60 year old woman gets a “does this steering wheel cover fit my Ferd Fteenthirty?” In an email, and she writes back “I don’t know. I don’t own that truck.” And Amazon scoops the reply and posts it as an “answer”.
