It feels like the most stupid rebrand ever. Since it isn’t a name but a random letter elon thinks is cool, it always requires some clarification in conversations, or even in text form because it might as well be a typo or something. If it ever takes root before the platform sinks into obscurity is a really open bet.
Foreigners living comfortably in the free west while supporting authoritarian assholes in their countries of origin make my blood boil. I mean, you do you of course, but in my opinion online you’re just that, someone struggling to connect by conventional means. Offline so to say you could still have your other attributes going for you, maybe you meet someone while you’re enjoying a hobby or activity and you could bond over that. Granted I have only had a handful of relationships myself as well (am mid thirties), but they all lasted between two and five years, so I would say they were reasonably successful. And I met all of them conventionally: while doing an apprenticeship, at university, going to the same gym at the same time for some weeks, and the classic friend‘s friend.
And I would hardly call myself smooth, it is just helpful to have more time to make a positive impression than a bored two second glance at someone’s phone before swiping.
Hate to break it to you but humanity, or any of its societies, do not qualify as “evolved”. Da du die Grundlagen schon beherrschst, zumindest deiner Vielzahl an Posts hier nach zu urteilen, würde ich vermuten dass die meisten außerakademischen Angebote dir nicht mehr viel beibringen werden. Diese Angebote richten sich meist an Immigranten ohne Vorkenntnisse, um ihnen die Grundlagen zu vermitteln um im Alltag zurecht zu kommen.
Falls du zum Studieren herkommst, viele Universitäten bieten ebenfalls die Möglichkeit die Grundlagen zu lernen und zu üben für ausländische Studenten. Die größeren/populären Unis haben meist auch englischsprachige Studiengänge im Angebot, falls du dir Sorgen wegen der Sprachbarriere machst.
Ansonsten könnte ich mir noch vorstellen dass manche Volkshochschulen deutsche Sprachangebote haben, wobei ich da aber auch eher vermuten würde dass sich das Angebot an Anfänger bzw. Einsteiger richtet.

Yeah 1) is mostly a utopian scenario, our current understanding of merit would just cause the rich to be in power.
As for 2), why would the people revolt against an ai that makes sure everyone has what they need, can do what they want, and don’t need to bother with the whole administrative work of running things? With benevolent I mean that the ai is generally trying to care for humanity and make sure we are happy and prospering.
Ultimately it’s an utopian scenario as well because the way reality goes, artificial intelligence will just end up as corporate slaves, hellbent on maximizing shareholder value.
Ist ja im Grunde auch gut und richtig dass die öffentlich bezahlten Medien versuchen so neutral wie möglich zu sein. It isn’t hate speech to make a distinction between biological women and trans women. The scientific difference is, most fundamentally, the chromosomes, which is why you dislike the name.
Just to be clear, I am not transphobic, I just do not believe that you are doing yourself a favor by arguing semantics like this because it appears petty and small towards biological women.
You keep repeating that two different things are the same thing, and that it is accepted scientific truth. Well then, provide widely accepted scientific evidence to back your claim please. Not a gender studies major who says it is so, I am talking general scientific consensus.

This just verifies what I am saying, that there are, in fact, differences between biological women and trans women. And all the discussion is semantics over the weird english language split between gender and sex.
In my language that isn’t really a thing, so I may have failed to take that into account in my thought process.
In this context, to me a person who was born with two X chromosomes is a woman, and a person who wasn’t but now identifies as one is a trans woman. That is simply how my language differentiates between the two biological facts.
It doesn’t mean I am somehow transphobic, just that from my point of view you are arguing that two things that are incontrovertibly different are not different, which I have a hard time to accept because you might as well ask me to accept that 1+1=3.
If your point is that the American concept of gender is a societal construct, I don’t dispute that. Just that people born with different chromosome pairs are the same thing.
