Windows will continue as always. The “normies” as you call them don’t give a shit about this. They want things they use on a day-to-day basis to work with no interference from them, they really don’t care how.
Been finding some good deals on 2.5 disks lately, but have never bought one before. Have a couple of 3.5 disks on the other hand in my Unraid server. Wondering how much it matters wether I get a 2.5 or not? What form factor do you prefer/usually go for?
I think 3.5" are usually priced better per tb than 2.5" drives and performance is usually better too. So unless you feel like burning money for an inferior solution, are have some space constraints that doesn’t allow 3.5" drives, I wouldn’t go with 2.5" drives. They’re more energy efficient though, but you’d need a fuckton of drives for that to make a worthwhile difference in your power bill.
When has anyone ever cared about (total) range of a PHEV/ICE? It’ll be a 5min stop for another 600 miles on pretty much every PHEV/ICE out there anyway. It’s a pointless metric for that type of vehicle.
This is how I feel about all bands/artists…they may have a one or two songs that I like and the rest of their discography is not something I want to listen to at all.
Below is a look at the most exasperating news from streaming services from this week. The scale of this article demonstrates how fast and frequently disappointing streaming news arises. Coincidentally, as we wrote this article, another price hike was announced....
They absolutely did. I used to pirate all my media 20 years ago, but then streaming became so convenient and relatively cheap that I just didn’t bother with it anymore.
Now, they’ve pretty much pushed me back out to sea with their ever increasing prices and decreasing content that’s worth watching. I’m not paying $15-20 per service, when they insist on fragmenting it to hell so I’d need 3-4 subscriptions to watch the things I want.
Likely skilled labour in the beginning so they can intervene and drive/manoeuvre if necessary, and as the tech matures just “button pushers” in the truck, then remote with a single person managing several trucks.
you “have to” bring it to Tesla for repairs and service
That’s some big ass quotation marks, because it’s not true at all. I’ve only had mine fixed by Tesla when it was a warranty issue. The service I’ve had done (brakes, general checkup and AC) have been done by a local shop without any issues. Had a fender bender that was fixed by a local shop too without any issues.
We had a coworker that got fired a while back, man that was a relief for the entire department. That person was absolutely toxic to work with, or even near.
I recently made the switch from the marlin-based stock firmware on my anycubic kobra 2, to klipper. I didn’t have issues with bed levelling or first layer on the stock firmware, but I’m having significant issues running klipper. I have this incredibly loud noise coming from my Y-axis. It doesn’t affect print quality, but it is horrible to listen to and really loud. It is present when the Y-axis moves at ~100mm/s and gets worse/louder as speed increases....
Yeah we have tax rebates for the rich, defunding of education, some laughably passive bordering nonexistent policies to protect local environment and combat climate change (heavily lobbied for by the agricultural lobby)…shit is going just A-OK here 👌
I absolutely hate “smart” TVs! You can’t even buy a quality “dumb” panel anymore. I can’t convince the rest of my family and friends that the only things those smarts bring are built-in obsolescence, ads, and privacy issues....
What a fucking ridiculous workaround that’s completely unavailable to the regular consumer…fuck Samsung (and the industry in general) for this approach.
Unless it’s “load this file on a USB stick and plug in in your TV”-easy, it’s still out if reach to most consumers.
But my point is, it shouldn’t be necessary to do these things in the first place. Fucking drop the “smart” element from them completely, they always suck ass anyway and are laggy as hell to navigate.
