I think this is very interesting. A "simulation" of the current Senedd under various election models.
None of the models (Additional Member, Single Transferrable Vote and List PR) shift the "dial" much. Not sure what this says about the systems or voting patterns. Any thoughts anybody?
@juergen_hubert I'm posting pictures from my Icelandic Christmas Calendar of the "Yule Lads" - beings who come down from the mountains in Iceland around Christmas and cause trouble and mayhem (and latterly, bring gifts to good children - children who've been bad end up in Mother Gryla's pot or are eaten by The Yule Cat). Is there anything similar you've come across? #icelandic#yule_lads#folklore
Couldn't agree less.
As a learner (very slowly - sorry), I find bilingual road signs very useful. Indeed, I'm now reading the Welsh first in many instances, in the sense of seeing the words and understanding the meaning (the way language works anyway - you don't spell out C-A-T cat - you just see "🐈")
@nic@Henrysbridge That reminds me of something I saw online. Someone said, "They don't have bilingual signs in Scotland. They have Gaelic and badly spelled Gaelic." That's just the place names, of course, not the directional signs.
Brilliant result! I watched the first half, mostly from behind the sofa Dr who style. I decided #Wales could do without my jinx (any team I support or watch loses) for the second half, and it worked!
